Purple Rain

Summary: AU future fic in which Charlie survived the Looking Glass mission and all the Lostees were rescued from the island by Penny's team. A year later Desmond and Charlie have seperated from Penny and Claire and are in a relationship together, but they are still dealing with the aftereffects of their flashes ordeal.
Characters/Pairing: Desmond/Charlie, mentions of Penny and Claire.
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: I do not own Lost.
Beta: All my thanks to the slashtastic [info]zelda_zee .
Author's Note:
This is my Desmond/Charlie anniversary fic. I haven't written a story with my old OTP for a year now. This is my first time slashing them (what took me so long?) and much credit must go to Pick Me Back Up Again verse by [info]toestastegood</lj>  for inspiring me to write the Desmond/Charlie relationship with a D/s slant. This fic has made me very nostalgic and reflective. I could probably write a fic commentary for it if any readers are interested. Let me know!

I only want to see you laughing in the purple rain... )

The Trials of Fate

Rating: PG-13
Summary: Desmond, the man who spent three years saving the world by pushing a button, is now battling against the universe to keep Charlie Pace alive. Together the two men struggle to change their fates.
Characters: Desmond, Charlie, Sayid, Hurley, Claire, Ben, Locke and Penny.
Disclaimer: I don't own Lost.
Warnings: Dark themes and angst.
Authors Note: I am relaunching my 'Trials of Fate' saga with some beautiful banners and a stunning trailer made by the wonderful cylune. This story offers a different take on the Desmond/Charlie/Flashes plot. It contains splashes of PB&J and Despenny romance and features characters such as Sayid, Hurley and Ben in major roles.

Character’s: Charlie/Claire, Liam, Penny, cameos from most of the rest of the Losties and numerous flashback characters.
Rating: PG
Summary: Charlie chases a Scottish man through the rainy streets of London, which leads him to a fateful meeting in an antique shop. Eight years later, he starts to experience strange dreams about being stranded on a mysterious island. As he discovers more about this island and its occupants, he begins to realise that he is living out two different lives simultaneously. What will happen when these two existences finally collide?
Disclaimer: Lost doesn’t belong to any of the three of us. Neither does 'The Waste Lands' in the Dark Tower series which was also a big inspiration for this story (thank you Stephen King). The Paradox theory belongs to [info]cylune9and [info]pacejunkie.
Trailer: View the Full Length Trailer and the Teaser Trailer made by [info]sapphire_child
Awards: Winner of Best Alternative Universe at [info]lost_fic_awards
Author's Note: Okay, so several months after we start posting this fic I finally get around to posting the links on my own LJ. This series was born out of Lune & Paceys paradox theory and my own Charlie/Mrs Hawkings seed story which became the prologue to this co-fic of epic proportions written between three diehard Charlie fans. The writers killed Charlie off their show, so we wrote Charlie his own show. He deserved it. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read and comment on this. Thanks most of all from me to sapph and pace who were the real heroes of this story.
And don't miss sapphs awesome trailers!

It is also an entry for the New Friends challenge at [info]charliepacefic.
Characters: Daniel Faraday, Charlie, Liam and Desmond.

Thanks also for nudging me into writing Faraday (he is a darling!) Hmn. There seems to be several Charlie/Faraday fics popping up recently - is this a new fandom cult?

Dedication: This fic is for elliotsmelliot who I would credit with pulling me back into the realm of lostfanfic when I was seriously ready to throw in the towel. Thank you for all your wonderful stories which have shown how you can still be fabulously original and inventive within the often frustrating borderlines of canon. Please keep writing, hon!

Sharing the Night

Rating: PG
Pairing: Desmond/Charlie, mentions of Desmond/Penny.
Synopsis: Desmond and Charlie are both restless with fear and despair. They decide to spend the night together. Set after the events of 'Par Avion'.
Warning: This fic could be interpreted as friendship, slash or bromance. Take your pick.
Authors Note: Appologies to my PB&J readers for my negative portrayal of your beloved ship in this story. For the record I think Charlie/Claire are an adorable couple and I don't wish to upset their sweet lovely fans. Please forgive me.
Dedication: *sigh* This is my last fanfic. Click here if you wish to know the reasons for my retirement. I would like to dedicate my closing story to Desmond Hume and Charlie Pace; the true heroes of Lost.

The Belly of a Whale

Summary: Bonnie choses not to tell Ben about Charlie's intrusion of the Looking Glass station. Over the following weeks Bonnie and Greta hold him prisoner and Charlie is slowly drawn into their intense relationship.
Rating: NC-17 (for violence, sex and strong language).
Warnings: Includes het, femmeslash, threeways, mild bondage and slight non-con.
Pairings: Bonnie/Greta, Bonnie/Greta/Charlie.
Authors Note: This story is my first attempt at anything remotely slashy, so please go easy on me. According to my beta reader [info]pacejunkie "The porn is really incidental because the fic has real substance" so I hope that non-slash readers will give it a chance. Thanks once again to  [info]cylune9for another gorgeous graphic.

Beware of the Fangirl

Rating: PG-13
Summary: Lost/Misery crossover. RPF horror/humour and Crack!fic. Damon Lindelof has been kidnapped by a crazy fangirl who is furious with him for killing off her favourite character.
Characters: Damon Lindelof, crazed Charlie fan.
Disclaimer: I do not own Lost. I have not kidnapped Damon. This fic is meant in jest.
Authors Note: This story is my first entry for the Lost Horror Stories challenge using the Misery prompt. If you are unfamiliar with this classic horror flick based on the Stephen King novel then check out the Movie Trailer before reading. I'm submitting this early because I've signed up for two prompts (my Wicker Man fic is in the works!) and I wanted to get one of them out of the way.
Dedication: Wishing a very Happy Birthday to [info]sapphire_child. One of the craziest Charlie lovers on the web!

Summary: A lament and tribute to Charlie Pace. Narration by Rose.
Characters: Rose and Charlie.
Disclaimer: I don't own Lost.
Author's Notes: I've been writing this piece very slowly over the last month filling it with my most heartfelt reflections on my sadly departed favourite Lost character. Five Adventures

Summary:
These are two more ficlets written for the [info]charlieliveschallenge fanon as canon. Both these stories are both set post-S3, with one version where Charlie remains dead and anther where he survives his 'fate'. The first story resides in the "dead but here" afterworld of Lost where Charlie speaks with Alex on the day of her death. The second fic is set within a Charlielives verse where the Looking Glass is a portal and Charlie is rescued by Penny.
Characters: Charlie, Boone, Libby, Alex, Danielle, Karl and Penny.
Rating: PG/PG-13
Disclaimer: I do not own Lost and these fanons were created by  [info]janie_tangerineand [info]pacejunkie
Authors Note: Your attention please! I'm officially shutting up the deli and ceasing posts to this journal. If you wish to keep in touch with me then please friend me on my new journal [info]falafel_musings. Five Adventures

Summary:
Three ficlets written for the  [info]charlielives challenge fanon as canon. These fics are based on stories by three of my fellow Lost fic writers and are set during S1, S2 and S3 respectively. The first is an AU story where Ethan interviews a brainwashed Charlie, the second involves a night when Claire bakes cookies for all in the Swan hatch, the third fic features the death of Charlie's beloved guitar, Ethel.
Characters: Charlie, Ethan, Sayid, Sawyer, Claire, Hurley, Desmond and Ethel the acoustic electric.
Rating: PG/PG-13
Disclaimer: I do not own Lost and these fanons were created by [info]toestastegood[info]sapphire_childand [info]elliotsmelliot
Possible Error: Is anyone else having issues with chucks of text randomly disappearing? If so, I'm afraid I don't know how to fix this glitch. Please highlight to read.

The Musician

Synopsis:
FF story. Sayid is given another target to assassinate. He is shocked when his latest victim turns out to be an old friend from the island...a friend who he believed was already dead.
Characters: Sayid, Charlie, mentions of Ben.
Disclaimer: I do not own Lost.
Warnings: Spoilers for eps 1 and 3 of S4.
Rating: PG-13
Author's Note: Yeah, I know. I'm supposed to be retired. I'm not sure I even count myself a Lost fan anymore. I've only seen the Sayid episode and the Hurley/Charlie scene so far from S4. Surprisingly they have coupled up and given birth to this little ficlet. It came to me in a Desmond style flash. I found I couldn't resist writing it.

The Paradox

Summary: Charlie chases a Scottish man through the rainy streets of London, which leads him to a fateful meeting in an antique shop. Written for the [info]charlielives challenge: Strange Encounters and [info]lostfichallenge Unconventional Pairings.
Characters: Charlie/Mrs Hawking, mentions of Desmond.
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Nope, I still do not own Lost.
Authors Note: It seems that rumours of my retirement have been greatly exaggerated! Let's say I'm retired to the same degree that Charlie is dead; meaning you may see me returning to Lost fanfic for the odd mysterious cameo and, who knows, maybe one day I'll come back in a big way.
Dedication: For [info]cylune9who came up with the paradox theory and [info]pacejunkie who wanted see it in fanfic form. This is also a tribute to Charlie's appearance in the S4 trailer and the hope that it may be a herald of a future resurrection. We can dream, right?

Hello LJers! I am still feeling comfortable and relieved in my fanfic retirement. Lately I have been having a nostalgia trip; rereading some of my old stories and remembering how I felt when I wrote them. It has made me realise how this little hobby has strengthened me as a writer and how reader feedback has really helped me gain new confidence. I would like to share some of these reflections in more detail by listing my Top 10 fanfic memories - or if you like, my Greatest Hits!

I would also like to challenge other fanfic writers to make a Greatest Hits list of their own favourite fanfic memories. Stories you felt especially proud of or emotional over. Consider it a Meme of sorts!

The Sacrifice the Island Demanded

Rating: PG-13
Genre: Lost/Wicker Man crossover. Horror/humour Crack!fic.
Summary: Desmond has a prophetic vision of how the castaways may be rescued from the island. But to ensure their own salvation they must offer up a human sacrifice to the Wicker Man. Set around the time of 'Greatest Hits'.
Characters: The full ensemble, though mainly Charlie and Desmond (you know me!)
Disclaimer: I do not own Lost or The Wicker Man.
Authors Note: This story is my second entry for the Lost Horror Stories challenge using 'The Wicker Man' prompt. If you are unfamiliar with this classic British horror flick then check out the iconic final scene before reading. If you are interested in seeing the whole film may I recommend you seek out the definitive 1973 original and NOT the cheesy American remake (sacrilege!)

Washed Ashore Part 1 Part 2

First off, [info]pacejunkie in all her awesomeness has written a sequel story to my fic 'The Belly of a Whale'. Her two part epilogue is called 'Washed Ashore' and switches between Sayid, Hurley, Claire and Desmond POVs as they each try to fathom what happened to Charlie during the month he was held prisoner by Bonnie and Greta. This story is highly recommended to anyone who enjoyed my original fic. Pace nailed it!

Also...here's a little drabble I wrote ages ago and have been meaning to post.

Last Wishes

Synopsis:
Drabble. Charlie's thoughts as he says goodbye to baby Aaron.
Characters: Charlie and Aaron with mentions of Liam.

Click Graphic to LINK to this Fic

All PartsPart One, Part Two, Part Three, Part FourPart Five
Rating: PG-13 for drug use
Characters: Charlie, Jack, some Claire and Kate
Summary: Post-rescue. Charlie is living in Sydney with Claire and Aaron, his music career is taking off again and due to his heroic exploits in The Looking Glass that ultimately led to everyone getting rescued he is now hailed as “The Indisputable Hero of 815”. But being a hero isn’t all it’s cracked up to be – and the dream life he’s been living is far from perfect. Then he receives an unexpected phone call from Kate, pleading him to help out an old friend and suddenly Charlie finds himself having to play the hero for the last person he would have ever expected...
Disclaimer:  The characters are not ours but the story is. Yep, we made it all up. Consider it a loving tribute.
A/N: It’s funny how the principal characters in this story consist of an Aussie, a Yank and a Brit because it was written by…you guessed it…an Aussie, a Yank and a Brit. As you read, imagine this little fic travelling all over the world and back again toward its completion. We hope you enjoy it.

The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come

Rating: PG
Summary: One-shot. Charlie's death casts a shadow over the Lostees first Christmas on the island.
Characters: Ensemble.
Disclaimer: I do not own Lost.
Authors Note: I don't know if this will be covered in the show, but Charlie's death came just two days before Christmas (on December 23rd). Considering that Charlie's character is so closely associated with Christmas (two of his flashbacks are set on Christmas Day) it makes his death seem even more tragic to me. If that's possible.
